Outfit Recipes I've Been Loving

Winter is basically here, and with a new season comes a change in everyday looks. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that I have really been loving knitwear and leather looks lately! So, today I am excited to share some new recipes! Not food, but outfits that work perfectly when transitioning from your fall to winter wardrobe. Keep scrolling for more on the step-by-step process of how to create these two effortlessly chic looks that I recently wore.

Recipe 1 – Faux Fur Trim Cardigan and Houndstooth Mini Skirt

Directions

Start out with your faux fur trim knit cardigan. This can be layered over a tank or white top when styling for colder weather. Then, style your way around the cardigan by adding on some sheer tights and layering a houndstooth skirt over the tights. Finish off your look with a pair of classic platform boots in black and a matching shoulder bag to continue the color palette. For the best results, accessorize with your favorite jewelry pieces. Mine are stacked rings, the Vivienne Westwood pearl choker necklace, my gold ear cuff from Aurate jewelry, and the Maison Miru classic heart studs featured above.

Directions

Start out by layering a couple of your favorite necklaces before wearing the carenza top, that way your necklaces peek through the cut-out in the top nicely. Then, pair this with mid/high-rise straight-leg jeans and matte leather platform boots for an elevated feel. I have been obsessed with the style of the Lioness Alabama Jean, especially with this particular look. The slits at the ankles offer something new and pair perfectly when showing off heels or platforms. 

To finish off this look, add a neutral print shoulder bag and your favorite earrings. Drape a coat—in black or tan—over the shoulder if needed when it gets cold.
