Although there's still a stretch of summer left, I've already made the mental switch to fall. Every year around this time, I find myself gravitating toward richer colors, softer layers, and the excitement of a new season (my favorite one) just around the corner. My Pinterest boards have essentially become a collection of suede bags, Ralph Lauren autumn campaigns, and lived-in denim looks, while my saved posts have become an endless stream of outfit inspiration and new fall arrivals. And as a fashion lover, I wouldn't have it any other way.

So, consider this a collection of everything inspiring me these days. From the clothes I'm reaching for to the beauty favorites, movies, and little rituals getting me excited for the season ahead.

Even though I'm looking ahead to fall, I'm not quite ready to pack away everything that makes summer dressing so effortless. Instead, I've found myself leaning into pieces that feel like they're bridging the gap between the two seasons. Cotton dresses are still in heavy rotation, while relaxed denim has started to make more appearances in my everyday looks. Ballet flats are getting just as much wear as my sandals, and my loafers have slowly worked their way back into the mix. Even my summer bags are getting a few last outings before my suede and leather favorites inevitably take over.

And then there are all the little styling details I’ve been saving lately, like:

  • sheer scarves over the shoulders
  • slim vintage watches
  • suede belts
  • silk scarves tied onto handbags
  • cinched blazers over dresses or paired with skirts
  • a chunky knit with boxer shorts at home
  • trench coat over athletic wear
  • baby tee with tailored trousers

I'm easily drawn to warmer tones like chocolate brown and burgundy, especially through accessories and layering pieces that can be worn well beyond one season. As new collections continue to drop, there are a handful of brands I always check first. Sézane continues to create styles that feel feminine, timeless, and easy to incorporate into an everyday wardrobe, while Posse makes me want to live in linen well into September. Faithfull the Brand always captures that effortless, vacation-inspired feeling with styles that feel relaxed yet thoughtfully designed, and J.Crew has been putting out some of my favorite elevated basics lately. Then there are the classics I come back to every season: Ralph Lauren for that timeless East Coast charm, Good American for denim that feels as good as it looks, and COS for understated styles and staples that never feel tied to just one season. And if you want to shop along with me, I’m keeping all my latest finds and recs over on my ShopMy, linked here for easy browsing.

My Pinterest boards have started to reflect the same shift through deeper color palettes, bronzed makeup looks, and the return of prints and patterns that always feel synonymous with fall. More than a specific aesthetic, I’ve been drawn to the feeling behind these photos: that slower, cozier pace that seems to come with the season. The kind of days that feel a little less rushed, with more time for cozy mornings and all the things that make fall feel so nostalgic.

Of course, it’s not just the outfits, makeup inspo, and mood boards that make me excited for fall. It’s the little rituals that come along with it, too, from lighting a new seasonal candle while doing my skincare to trying new recipes or settling in with a blanket and a good book. I’ve also always loved the idea of matching certain movies and shows to different seasons. And right now, I’m on season two of The O.C. (the pilot was perfection, and I’ve been completely hooked since starting it in June). Earlier this year, I watched Veronica Mars for the first time and was immediately obsessed, though I think it’s one I’d especially recommend saving for fall. Certain movies and shows just feel made for a specific time of year, and these are the ones I’ll be turning to all season long:

  • Good Will Hunting
  • Derry Girls
  • When Harry Met Sally
  • Practical Magic
  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (and yes, all the rest)
  • Gossip Girl
  • Moonstruck
  • Breakfast at Tiffany's
  • Pride and Prejudice (the 2005 version, always)
  • You've Got Mail
  • Billy Elliot
  • Gilmore Girls
  • Mona Lisa Smile
  • Scandal
  • Girlfriends (season 4 is my cutoff)
  • One Fine Day
  • Clueless
  • Dead Poets Society
  • Barbie: Princess Charm School
  • The Phantom of the Opera
  • Alice in Wonderland
  • Sleepy Hollow
  • The Addams Family
  • Legally Blonde
  • Fantastic Mr. Fox
  • Crimson Peak
  • 10 Things I Hate About You
  • Coraline
  • The Devil Wears Prada

And while I’m always happy to revisit old favorites, there are a couple of newer releases I’m already looking forward to. I finally saw Spider-Man: Brand New Day this week and absolutely loved it, truly a 10/10 for me. But I’m also really looking forward to the Sense and Sensibility remake coming out this October. I have such a soft spot for the original, so I’m very curious to see what they do with it. And then there’s The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, which I already know is going to be so good and, simultaneously, completely heartbreaking. I’m excited for it, but I also feel like I need to emotionally prepare myself a little first.

I think I’ve always been someone who loves having little things sprinkled throughout the year to look forward to. And a seasonal shift just gives us another excuse to slow down, revisit old favorites, discover something new, and make space for the different things that bring us joy.

With warmer days ahead, I’ve found myself fully shifting into a summer mindset: breathable fabrics, elevated everyday basics, statement accessories, and a few vacation-ready finds that feel just as good for city days as they do for weekends away. Alongside that shift in wardrobe, my beauty routine naturally changes a bit, with an emphasis on radiant and refreshed skin. I’ve also been leaning more into wellness habits that feel easy and grounding, like slower mornings, staying hydrated, and small rituals that make everything feel a bit more balanced and intentional.

This is essentially a running edit of everything I’m currently eyeing for the season ahead, fashion pieces I keep saving, beauty staples I’m reaching for more, and wellness favorites that I keep coming back to each summer. Think easy linen sets, woven textures, soft neutrals, and beauty essentials that lean into a natural, sun-kissed glow. Have a look below, and hopefully it inspires you for the season ahead.

Spring always feels like a much-needed reset. Longer days, a bit more light in the evenings, and that first stretch of warmth that makes everything feel lighter. It’s when I naturally start to shift a few things in my routines, my space, and even how I spend my time at home.

For me, that shift starts in small, almost sensory ways. Scent and music always end up shaping the tone of my space more than I expect. I like switching out candles and creating seasonal playlists for different parts of the day, like something light and upbeat in the mornings, jazz while cooking, and slower tracks for evenings at home. Even small shifts in sound can quietly set the rhythm for how a day feels.

Spring cleaning, for me, is less about doing everything at once and more about choosing a few areas that immediately change how my home feels. I usually start with surfaces I see every day. Bedding, kitchen counters, bedside tables, and the corner of my desk, where things collect without me noticing. There is something about a deep clean and reorganized storage that makes the whole space feel more open. I also rotate through a couple of categories at a time. One weekend might be closets and vanity drawers, another might be the fridge and bathroom cabinets. The goal is to make things feel a bit more manageable among other day-to-day responsibilities.

As for my wardrobe, I’m not one to do a full seasonal overhaul. That feels too extreme and often leads me to keep things I’m unsure about because I feel rushed or overwhelmed. Instead, I pull everything I wore the least this past season and try it on again. Anything I don’t particularly love or can’t style in at least three practical ways gets donated. I then move light knits, maxi dresses, denim, and other easy, go-to pieces closer to the front of my closet, so getting dressed feels more effortless.

That same idea carries over into how I structure my routine. Instead of starting a reset with a long list of goals, I’ve found it’s more helpful to look at how I actually want my week to feel. I love to plan things out in my journal and have started to notice the small anchors that make a week feel balanced, like using my walking pad in the morning before the day gets busy, or carving out time for tae bo and pilates a few times a week. I also try to reserve a block of time during the week for focused work, especially anything creative, so it doesn't get lost in everything else. My social calendar tends to feel more manageable when it's spaced out, too. This could look like one dinner with friends each week and a movie on the weekends instead of stacking plans all at once. And I try to leave a couple of evenings open just for slowing down, whether that involves reading, watching a comfort show, or simply junk journaling. When the week is structured around habits like these, it feels less like I'm trying to optimize everything and more like the days naturally fall into place. One thing that helps here is picking two or three things you want to come back to each week and building your routine around that. This could be as simple as getting outside for a walk a few mornings a week, keeping one consistent workout you enjoy, or setting aside a block of time for solo dates in your city. The idea is to keep it realistic, so it supports your week instead of adding more to it.

That rhythm has also made me more mindful about how I take care of myself day to day, especially with spring allergies in the mix. So, here are my essentials:

  • Vitamins: Iron, Vitamin D, and Vitamin C are my morning non-negotiables for immunity, energy, and seasonal support. Zinc is another staple I lean on for immune support, and Lemme Glow is another mainstay in my routine.
  • Morning sips: I usually start with lemon and ginger tea with a touch of honey, or my go-to juice blend of carrots, oranges, fresh ginger, turmeric, honey, and a pinch of black pepper to help activate the turmeric. I also really enjoy a good matcha, and the latte blends from Golde are some of my favorites. They’re rich, comforting, and feel like a simple way of nourishing my body from within.
  • Self-care checklist: An everything shower twice a week has become a more intentional, full reset compared to my usual day-to-day shower routine. It includes dry brushing before I get in, dermaplaning, brow shaping, a deep conditioning treatment or hair mask, double cleansing (cleansing oil + foam cleanser), exfoliation, and shaving. After that, I usually light a candle and have some tea while doing my skincare, finishing with moisturizer and a body oil to lock in hydration. From there, I like to extend the ritual with a few extra steps like hair care, lymphatic drainage using body oil, or an at-home manicure and pedicure. I’ve also shared my favorite skincare and body care products on ShopMy if you’re curious about what I use.
  • Kitchen staples: Keep olive oil, Greek yogurt, root vegetables, fresh and dried herbs, sardines or mackerel, honey, whole grains, leafy greens, and a little mix of fresh fruit on hand. Meals at home don’t have to be complicated to feel nourishing, even on busy days. I always enjoy planning out recipes that are easy to rotate throughout the week. Some things I’ve been making lately include savory sardine snack plates, yogurt bowls, avocado toast with scrambled eggs, herbs, and chili flakes, and simple grain bowls like brown rice with capers, olive oil, and herbs or roasted chickpea salads with fresh greens and grilled onions.

Your spring curriculum also starts here, with a curated selection of books, films, and articles to return to throughout the season. I find something comforting in treating the season itself as a kind of loose structure for what you consume and revisit, not in a rigid way, but as a way to be more intentional with how you spend your time in those in-between moments. I’ve always liked the idea that what you read or watch can shape how a season feels, almost like it becomes part of the background of your everyday life. So, here's a small seasonal rotation of media to move through at your own pace, depending on your mood and downtime.

What we consider chic often lives somewhere between personal instinct, taste, and intention. I find it's one of those qualities many people can recognize instantly, yet struggle to fully define. In many ways, it feels like a moving target, shaped by mood, setting, style, and the person embodying it. That elusive je ne sais quoi has always felt a little less about accumulating things and more about personal instincts: a quiet confidence, an ease, an understanding of self. And yet, I’d be lying if I said an impeccably styled look or a signature fragrance couldn’t get you at least half of the way there.

So, the following list was inspired by a fun trend I kept seeing floating around on socials, but it immediately transported me somewhere more personal. I was also reminded of my childhood, watching my mom and women around me, and quietly taking note of the way they carried themselves. At the same time, I was just as captivated by Audrey Hepburn movies, completely absorbed in the old-Hollywood sense of style and grace her characters embodied. Then there were the hours spent scrolling endlessly through Pinterest and Polyvore, saving outfits and curating little worlds of what I thought chic looked like at the time. Looking back, those influences evolved over time, shaping my personal style and what I’m drawn to.

Ahead, I’m sharing the fashion, beauty, and everyday essentials that feel incredibly chic to me. I’d love to know what makes your list, too.

  • Kindness and gratitude
  • A curated collection of things you enjoy (books, fashion magazines, vinyls, match boxes, etc.)
  • Having signature fragrances
  • Vintage shopping
  • Slow living
  • Wrap coats
  • Handwritten letters
  • Heels and ballet flats
  • Lighting scented candles while getting ready (DW home, Diptyque Paris, and Ralph Lauren have some of the best candles)
  • Vintage watches
  • Well-made clothing staples in cashmere, linen, organic cotton, and silk
  • Peonies
  • Daily reading
  • Tortoise accessories such as sunglasses, claw clips, barrettes, and headbands
  • Hobbies (ballet, drawing, baking, journaling, etc.)
  • Smart money habits
  • Having personal/niche taste in music, art history, nature, science, etc.
  • Clean and/or polished nails (adore a micro-French manicure, sheer neutrals, or deep red nail colors)
  • Asymmetric gallery walls at home (love a blend of gold and black frames for family photos and black and white art prints)
  • The skinniest stemmed wine glasses
  • Elegantly monogrammed accessories such as toiletry bags, a compact mirror, hair brushes, lipstick cases, stationery, and hand towels
  • Knowing multiple languages
  • Monochromatic outfits with varying textures
  • Music boxes
  • Dermaplaning followed by an everything shower, finished with an intricate body care routine
  • High-quality jewelry and skincare products
  • Self-care rituals

Traveling always feels a little smoother when I have a few reliable bags with me. No matter the destination, having the right mix of functional and versatile pieces makes packing feel less chaotic and a lot more intentional. From spontaneous purchases to everyday essentials, these go-to bags help everything stay organized. Below, I’m sharing the bags I reach for most when I travel, along with a few other essentials I’ve saved in my ShopMy collection.

My canvas tote and shoulder bag are the foundation of what I pack. The tote is perfect for grocery runs, day trips, or the inevitable unexpected finds along the way, while the shoulder bag carries me through daily moments. Like exploring a new neighborhood, heading to a café, or enjoying an early dinner. They’re practical without sacrificing style, which makes them easy to reach for again and again.

A good shoulder bag is one of those travel essentials I never overthink once I find the right one. I like packing at least one structured option that feels polished enough for dinners or museum days, along with a softer, more relaxed style for long walks or coffee runs. Brands like Polène, Coach, JW Pei, and Staud strike that balance between style and practicality, offering timeless designs that travel well and pair seamlessly with almost any outfit.

Just as important are the smaller bags that keep everything else in place. My toiletry bag holds travel-size skincare and personal care essentials, while additional cosmetic bags separate makeup, body care, and haircare for easy access in my carry-on. A few thoughtfully chosen bags like these truly keep packing (and traveling) stress-free.

Winter is the season for slowing down and exploring routines that feel cozy and meaningful. Lately, I’ve been leaning on rituals, reads, and little luxuries that help me stay grounded, relaxed, and fully present. From wellness habits to current obsessions, these are the ways I’m making winter at home feel softer and more restorative.

This winter, I’m slowing down with things that feel comforting and engaging. Winter can feel long when sunlight is limited, so I make a point to create small, intentional moments that lift my mood. My TBR is stacked with immersive reads that I’m excited to dive into. Here's what I'm reading next:

  • The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern
  • Paris In Winter: An Illustrated Memoir, by David Coggins
  • Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley
  • Emma, by Jane Austen
  • The Princess Bride, by William Goldman

On Netflix, I’m on my second rewatch of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story and can't get enough. The costumes, the drama, and the escapism are everything. But I’m also spending more time with physical media, creative projects, and calming rituals. Drawing, cooking new seasonal recipes, learning Italian, junk journaling, and diving into my magazine stack are all ways I like to pause, step away from my phone, and sink into immersive practices or longer-form media.

Winter wellness is all about layering care into your day, and it doesn't have to be complicated. Here are my essentials:

  • Vitamins: Iron (best absorbed with Vitamin C) and Vitamin D are non-negotiables in the morning. Magnesium is a major player for winter bedtime, and B12 keeps my energy levels steady. Another area I’ve focused on is hair health and skincare. Taking supplements like Lemme Grow and Lemme Glow has helped so much with hair growth and reduced shedding.
  • Tea rituals: Lemon & ginger tea while doing my morning skincare and listening to podcasts (personal recs: Aspire with Emma Grede, Ladies who Launch with Rochelle Humes, and Relationsh*t with Kamie Crawford) makes nourishment feel comforting. To wind down, I adore a cozy chai with almond milk, cinnamon, and honey. It’s the perfect little nighttime drink.
  • Skincare: Hydration is also key this time of year. After applying moisturizer, I follow up with shea butter or a body oil to lock in moisture. I also keep SPF in my winter skincare rotation, and I've linked my top picks on ShopMy. My favorite skincare and body care products are also linked on ShopMy if you want to see what’s in the mix. So, light a candle and turn your regular routine into a spa day with nourishing products.
  • Kitchen staples: Keep olive oil, root vegetables, fresh and dried herbs, beans, honey, whole grains, leafy greens, bone broth, and a little dark chocolate on hand. Meals at home aren’t just good for your body, it’s a small act of self-care you can count on, even on busy days. I like to plan a handful of recipes that are easy to rotate throughout the week. Some of my favorites right now include fried rice and suya chicken, honey garlic-glazed salmon with roasted veggies and chickpeas, or this lasagna soup recipe I found on TikTok when I want something indulgent.

Winter is the perfect time to slow down, explore little joys, and make space for the things that bring comfort and inspiration. Whether it’s a good book, a creative project, a home-cooked meal, or even a few self-care habits. These considered practices add up to a season that creates a sense of calm and comfort.

New York Fashion Week this September was a whirlwind of shows, street style, and unexpected moments that kept me fully immersed in the experience. Over those days, I experienced everything from bold runway looks to behind-the-scenes glimpses, and along the way, I stepped outside my usual wardrobe choices, like embracing cherry red for fall, which felt fun and different. The things I saw, wore, and loved all centered around the idea of the excitement of discovery. Between catching shows, exploring designer collections, and soaking in the city’s energy, Fashion Week reminded me that style is as much about experimentation as it is about expression. This is something I tried to bring into my looks, which you can explore through my ShopMy collection, linked here.

Keep scrolling for a peek at the highlights from my week! The outfits I wore, the shows I loved, and all the moments that made New York Fashion Week so unforgettable this season.

What I Wore

This season, I stepped a little outside my usual neutrals and leaned into something bolder. My favorite look of the week was this cherry-red pant set from Endless Rose, rented through Rent the Runway. It felt fun, polished, and just different enough to set the tone for fall. I loved how versatile it was, and it carried me seamlessly from shows to evening events, all while making me feel confident and chic. I paired the set with these leopard-print ballet flats from Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn. Originally, I was torn between heels, but I fell for the flats and adored how they grounded the look. To complement the shoes, I added a tan leather shoulder bag, tying the outfit together.

What I Saw

Over the week, I popped into the Tezza Photo Booth, did some window shopping at J.Crew, and stopped by the Bronx and Banco showroom to volunteer for a few days, coming across the prettiest moodboard that inspired their latest collection. I also made it backstage for the PatBo show, which delivered on glamour and intricate floral detailing. Earlier that week, I attended the Global Fashion Collective shows with my sister, where two designers in particular stood out. Ashlyn So brought a different kind of excitement to the runway with her Recolored collection, a powerful exploration of renewal and identity. Inspired by the vibrancy of coral reefs before mass bleaching, her color choices, fluid draping, and layered textures reflected both fragility and strength. It felt like a visual call to celebrate individuality while protecting what’s most vulnerable, resulting in dresses that carried both beauty and meaning. On another note, Noe Bernaceli presented a womenswear collection steeped in romance and beautiful textures. From sheer lace gowns to pleated capes, each look was a study in elegance with a touch of drama, setting his work apart within the GFC designer lineup. Across the week more broadly, I noticed a few recurring themes on the runway like pops of red, lots of lace, polka dots, headscarves, animal prints, and plenty of rich textures.

What I Loved

While the shows were beautiful, some of my favorite memories also happened behind the scenes. I had the opportunity to work backstage at the Bronx and Banco and PatBo shows, helping dress models, create content, and get a firsthand look at how everything comes together. There’s something energizing about being part of that controlled chaos, and it gave me an even deeper appreciation for the artistry and teamwork behind fashion week. In between, I also leaned on little rituals that kept me balanced. A couple of nights ended with sushi and a pint of Talenti’s Belgian Chocolate gelato over an episode (or two) of Derry Girls or Girlfriends, which for me was the perfect way to wind down after busier days during Fashion Week.

After months of dreaming, planning, and countless Pinterest saves, I finally touched down in Paris with my family, and it was everything I imagined and more. It was the perfect backdrop to spend quality time together and explore one of the most iconic cities in the world. We filled our days with unforgettable moments, from exploring art galleries and vintage shops in Le Marais to catching golden hour at the Eiffel Tower; every moment felt effortless and perfectly Parisian.

Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without a little outfit exploration. I packed pieces I knew would be versatile yet chic, perfect for everything from casual coffee runs to gallery-hopping. Think a classic little black dress paired with red ballet flats for a stroll through Montmartre, a Canadian tuxedo and white sneakers for a day at Disneyland Paris, and flowy maxi skirts styled with cute tops for easy outfits throughout the week. You can find more of what I wore & recs through my ShopMy collection, linked here.

All in all, stepping into my dream city was everything I hoped for, and yes, I may have brought a little Paris back with me in the outfits I wore, the cafés I loved, and the corners of the city I can’t stop thinking about. Below, I’m sharing a peek into what I wore, where I ate, and my favorite Parisian discoveries. Basically, a little guide to the style, flavors, and experiences that made this trip so unforgettable.

On warmer afternoons, I leaned on breezy maxi skirts paired with playful tops and sandals for uncomplicated styling. Each outfit was versatile enough to take me from an afternoon of exploring straight to dinner. I couldn’t resist ending the day at cozy spots like Café Kléber. It’s lively, affordable, and has all the French classics (their steak with fries is a must-try!) For something more elevated, Maxim is a dream. Its ambience and timeless glamour made dinner feel like a true Parisian experience. And if you’re craving Italian in Paris (because yes, it’s a thing), Le Monteverdi is one of those cozy, always-packed favorites worth the hype. No matter what you’re craving, Paris truly has a table for every mood. Some other spots I enjoyed include:
  • Madonna
  • Gala food malatang/Gala Cantine (on 88 Rue Blanche in Paris; their braised beef noodle bowl and chicken fried dumplings were perfection)
  • Le Bon Georges
  • Chez Savy
  • Bouillon Pigalle
  • La Mère Catherine in Montmartre (you have to try the mussels!)
  • Poulette

Le Marais is a dream for fashion lovers. I spent hours browsing vintage shops and small boutiques, picking up pieces that felt unique and fun. A few curated vintage stops I can’t recommend enough: Système Solère / Saint-Paul, Demain Rétro, and Vintage Désir. A must-visit for me was Smith and Son, where I also grabbed a few fashion magazines. I'm slowly building my international Vogue collection, one issue at a time. And of course, my sister and I couldn’t resist Amorino for gelato; it quickly became our go-to spot for a little sweet treat while exploring different areas. Other spots worth checking out for souvenirs, beauty staples, and cute clothes:
  • Thanx God I’m a VIP
  • Printemps Haussmann
  • Louis Paris
  • Chez Sarah
  • The Parisian Vintage
  • Palace Callas
  • La Frange à l'envers
  • Studio W
  • Le Boudoir Vintage
  • Mademoiselle Josephine
  • Les Archives
  • L'Officine Universelle Buly 1803
  • Skat Vintage
  • Erem
  • Nuovo
  • Marie Olive
  • The Room
  • Open Dressing
  • Celia Darling
  • Bobby
  • Valois Vintage
  • OFC Vintage
  • goodJo luxury vintage

And naturally, you can’t explore Paris without discovering its cafés and bakeries along the way. Some of my favorites to recharge included Mamiche, Creamy Daily, Kura-ge, Ladurée, and Matcha Social Club, each perfect for coffee, pastries, or a little mid-day indulgence between exploring the city. For art lovers, I created a mini museum loop that was a must on our trip, which included the La Galerie Dior, perfect for fashion history, the Petit Palais (which is free entry), and the Musée d'Orsay. If you’re planning a visit, keep in mind that many museums in Paris are free on the first Sunday of the month (with advance registration), which makes it a great time to plan a gallery day. I also loved seeing the Colonnes de Buren installation and taking a moment to people-watch on the benches at the Jardin du Palais Royal. If you have a full day to spare, a trip out to Claude Monet’s home and gardens in Giverny is an unforgettable blend of art history and serene landscapes.

By the end of the trip, I realized a few staple pieces made exploring Paris effortless and stylish. Linen sets, flowy maxi skirts, a tailored denim jacket, classic button-down tops, and graphic tees became my go-to. They were all easy to mix, match, and layer depending on the day. You can find more of these picks in my ShopMy collection, linked here, for inspiration and styling ideas. More than anything, I hope these reflections offer a mix of inspiration and practical tips you can bring along on your own future trip to Paris.

Being a medium-maintenance girl isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating space for rituals that feel good and habits that support your day-to-day. I truly believe that when you look good, you feel good, and an intentional routine can make all the difference in how you show up each day.

My beauty routine leans more into skincare that acts like makeup, a streamlined stack of everyday staples, and rituals that help me stay centered. I swear by my morning supplements, get my steps in on the walking pad, and never skip sunscreen (yes, even on gloomy days). I gua sha because it feels like a calming reset. I rotate my products like a capsule wardrobe. And I genuinely love the hunt for quality products, especially when it comes to skincare. You can explore my go-to products, from skincare to haircare staples, over on my ShopMy storefront. Everything I mention in this post is linked there for easy browsing.

Ahead, I’m breaking down the rituals that keep me feeling my best, from daily habits to weekly resets and monthly maintenance. Whether you're building your own routine or just looking for new ideas, consider this your guide to romanticizing your beauty and wellness rituals in a way that feels soft, sustainable, and fully you.

Confession #1: The Daily Non-Negotiables

Some of the things I do each day feel like anchors, consistent touchpoints that help me move through the rest of my day with more clarity and ease. My mornings usually begin quietly, with a prayer and a few minutes of journaling to check in with myself before the day fully begins. Movement typically comes next, whether it’s a walk paired with a Pilates session or a beginner-friendly ballet class. I’ll often have soft music playing or a show on in the background.

Currently, I keep a simple skincare routine rooted in hydration and skin barrier support. Double cleansing has truly changed my skin for the better. From there, I always reach for glow-enhancing serums, hydrating mists, lightweight facial oils, and rich creams that double as primer. My skin is always prepped and protected with SPF (yes, even on rainy days), and I always finish with a hydrating lip gloss or balm. Brushing my teeth morning and night without fail is just another part of the rhythm. And body care is just as important to me. Morning and night, I use a nourishing moisturizer, a body oil packed with antioxidants, and sunscreen. Most evenings, I pair a lightweight facial oil with my gua sha routine. And every other evening right before bed, I also apply castor oil to my lashes to maintain their health and length. As a way to slow down and enjoy the process as an act of self-care, I almost always light a candle while I get ready.

Supplements are another daily essential. After breakfast, I pair a glass of water or tea with a few go-to vitamins: Iron, Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Lemme Glow for hair, skin, and nails, and Lemme Grow for hair growth and anti-shedding. They support my energy, mood, and overall glow from within. You can explore more of my wellness lineup here.

Confession #2: My Weekly Reset Rituals

There’s something so relaxing about having a few beauty rituals to come back to each week. I don’t do them all at once, but over the week, these are the habits that help me feel most like myself.

Twice a week, I’ll shave (including dermaplaning my face), exfoliate, and layer on a nourishing in-shower oil. It’s the kind of ritual that takes a little more time, but the combination is heaven-sent for soft skin that feels and smells so good. I also make time for a face mask once a week, usually something soothing or clarifying, depending on how my skin is feeling. I’ll also shape my brows twice a week to keep them looking defined, and I never skip washing my makeup brushes and sponges.

When it comes to nails, I usually keep up with my pedicure at home, which includes trimming, shaping, cuticle care, and a fresh coat of polish as part of a relaxed evening ritual. For my hands, I keep things simple with clean, short nails that I shape and maintain myself. I’ll occasionally opt for acrylics or gel for vacations, events, or special occasions when I want something a little more polished and long-lasting. And of course, I always work in a deep conditioning treatment or hair mask, especially if I’ve been heat styling or just want to give my hair a little extra love after so many slicked back hairstyles.

Confession #3: Monthly Maintenance Moments

One of my biggest high-effort but low-maintenance wins is braiding my own hair. My go-to style is French curl braids, sealed with a firm-hold hairspray and mousse for added shine. It takes time to do them myself, but once they’re done, it's a style that is easy to maintain throughout the month and makes getting ready feel so much easier.

I also take time to restock any skincare staples I’ve run low on, and seasonally, I’ll adjust my routine depending on what my skin needs. In the colder months, I introduce shea butter into my bodycare lineup and use coconut oil at night to help lock in moisture. These swaps keep my skin feeling smooth and soft, all season.

Confession #4: Products I’m Loyal To

When it comes to skincare, these are the products that always stay in rotation and have earned a permanent spot in my skincare bag or on the shelf. In the evening, I start with a double cleanse using Dermalogica’s Precleanse Oil to melt away makeup and buildup, followed by Rhode’s Pineapple Refresh Cleanser for a gentle, effective second cleanse. After cleansing, I reach for Byoma’s Hydrating Milky Toner, which feels incredibly soothing and gives my skin a plump, prepped base for the rest of my products. I follow that with the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, a lightweight, deeply soothing layer that supports my skin barrier. For glow, the Biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum delivers a healthy, dewy complexion that lasts. I turn to Rhode’s Glazing Milk when I want added hydration and that glass skin finish. My moisturizer of choice tends to change seasonally, depending on what my skin needs. Throughout the day, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir Face Mist is my favorite for a quick, refreshing reset. No matter the season, I always finish with sunscreen SPF 30 or higher to keep my skin protected.

OLEHENRIKSEN’s Banana Bright+ Eye Crème is one of my top picks for targeted under-eye care, brightening and smoothing the area while also working beautifully under makeup. Similarly, their Pout Preserve Lip Treatment provides long-lasting hydration and a glossy finish I adore. I have also enjoyed incorporating Lemme Glow Gummies into my routine, as they continue to support the health of my hair, skin, and nails from the inside out. Their Sleep Gummies have also become the perfect addition to my evening rituals for more restful nights.

My approach to body care follows the same philosophy as skincare: thoughtful, consistent, and tailored to what my skin needs most. Shea butter and coconut oil are essentials in my body care routine during colder months when my skin craves added hydration. In warmer weather, I rely on Kopari’s Sun Shield Body Glow SPF 50, which not only offers reliable sun protection but also adds a gorgeous, radiant layer on my skin. I also swear by Nécessaire’s Multi-Peptide Body Lotion for its replenishing properties and lasting fragrance that complements my perfumes so well.

Confession #5: I Romanticize Everything

Most times, it’s the little luxuries and habits that transform a routine into a ritual. For me, that looks like lighting a candle while I get ready, slipping into a cozy robe before skincare, and playing soft music in the background to set the tone. I love sipping herbal tea or matcha while I move through my skincare steps, and some evenings, I’ll go for a warm cup of bone broth instead, especially when I want something soothing that supports both my skin and gut health.

It’s in these small details that I find space to slow down, enjoy the moment, and make everyday routines feel more elevated.

Fashion Week in New York is the kind of week where your calendar is packed from morning to night with runway shows, coffee dates, and unexpected photo ops on every corner. One minute you’re at a fun brand activation, and the next, you're racing downtown to catch a show just in time. And somehow, I still managed to squeeze in a quick lunch with friends at Ruby’s—because honestly, nothing beats their shrimp pasta and crispy sweet potato fries.

But let’s be real...whether you’re sprinting between NYFW shows or balancing work, errands, and maybe a happy hour, good skin prep is key. During Fashion Week, I leaned on my trusted lineup including hydrating serums, lightweight moisturizers that don't pill under makeup, and a little face oil to keep the cooler weather from dulling my complexion. These products didn’t just help me get through the week, they’re everyday essentials that can elevate your skincare routine too, no matter what your schedule looks like. Trust me, when your skin's at its best, everything else just falls into place.

Well...it's been a minute. You may have noticed a major drop in the content on here from me lately.
And to be honest, this post only seemed to get harder to put up as time passed with each deleted draft, but here we are — a much-needed start and refresh. So, in jumpstarting things this new year on the blog, I wanted to share a bit more about me.

My name is Kelly, and I’m a 21-year-old fashion-obsessed Nigerian-American girl trying to figure out how I can turn my passion for fashion into something more meaningful. For as long as I can remember, I always found an escape through fashion, books, and movies. I was obsessed with how fashion can make you feel and how it is ultimately used as a means of expressing yourself. But while I enjoy all the different elements that come with it, what I really love is using fashion to tell a greater story. That is where the blog and content creation come into play. Back in 2017, I started this blog as an outlet to share my exploration of personal style, bits of my life, and more.

As far as my personal style, I would say it's casual yet chic. Neutrals are my go-to palette, but I'm always down to incorporate some colors and a few select prints into my wardrobe. Many elements, including Pinterest, the New York City scene, and some of my favorite fashion icons, influence aspects of my style. My interests are a blend of many things, including art, design, travel, writing, photography, cooking, reading, skincare, and fashion, of course! My faith is my everything; I'm a Christian. I'm also an enthusiast and daydreamer; my wallpaper has already been replaced with a new vision board as a way to keep me inspired and focused. Personally, I live for the company of my family and friends. I prefer tea over coffee most times, sunrises over sunsets, and staying in over going out. Music-wise, I listen to any genre, really, as long as it sounds good. In my downtime, you can catch me reading something new or watching my favorite shows—I'm still catching up on episodes of One on One and Girlfriends...and will possibly get started on Bridgerton soon because I've heard good things.

Anyway, feel free to leave a comment below or chat with me about anything. And, as always, I'm endlessly grateful to you for following along on the blog as I continue to navigate my twenties.

This post is sponsored by Clarisonic, Kiehl's, and HerCampusMedia. All words and opinions are my own.

Packed schedules, finals looming, harsh weather, and mounting stress—it's easy for your skincare routine to fall by the wayside. But don't worry! I've got you covered with my latest skincare obsessions and a few self-care tips to keep your skin moisturized, radiant, and winter-proof.

Drink Some Water First Thing In The A.M.

We've all heard this before, but seriously...drink some water first thing in the a.m. and then make sure to get in enough of it throughout the day. Water is essential to your skin's health and keeping you hydrated. So, make sure to drink enough water daily. If you want to switch things up, you can make fruit-infused water by adding slices of fruit or slices of lemon into your bottle of water. Fruit-infused water is perfect for cleansing things on the inside by getting rid of body toxins and improving your overall digestive health. Even better? This also helps brighten up your complexion and will have your skin looking radiant, boost your energy, and improve your overall mood.

Develop A Skincare Routine Tailored To You

It's so important that you wash your skin at least 2 times a day. This helps completely cleanse your skin of impurities and makeup, plus, it refreshes and rejuvenates tired skin.

In collaboration with Clarisonic and the InfluenceHer Collective, I had the chance to try Clarisonic's Mia Prima Facial Cleansing Brush paired with Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser. I've been using it for a while now in my skincare routine and it literally has my skin glowing...which is exactly what we want. Find a cleanser (the Kiehl's Facial Cleanser is a great one...just saying) + exfoliator that is perfect for your skin that you can effortlessly incorporate into your skincare routine.

What I really like about Kiehl's Cleanser is that it's a gentle cleanser that quickly dissolves and removes all the excess dirt, sweat, and impurities from your skin. In search of a new facial cleanser? The Kiehl's cleanser is literally perfect for all skin types as it contains essential oils from Almond Oil to Vitamin E and Avocado Oil that are suitable for all skin types. So...10/10 would recommend. The best thing is you can effortlessly incorporate this facial wash into your daily skincare routine. I paired the use of the Kiehl's Cleanser with the Mia Prima Cleansing Brush and it fits seamlessly into my daily (morning & nightly) skincare routine. Also, it's important to note that the Clarisonic Mia Prima Facial Brush is a gentle facial cleansing brush, the brush does not exfoliate your skin, hence, why it is (suitable for all skin types!) and completely okay to use in both your morning and nightly skincare routine. After that, I might use an exfoliating facial scrub on my face, especially on my T-zone, if I feel like I need it before finishing off my routine with a moisturizer.

After having cleansed your skin, you want to moisturize. My morning routine includes using some absolutely amazing products from the Body Shop. This includes The Body Shop's Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner and Tea Tree Oil set. Plus, a moisturizer to keep my skin looking dewy and radiant always. Tea Tree Oil has many benefits for the skin and is a go-to I swear by when it comes to my skincare routine because it's great for clearing blemishes, reduces acne scarring, and really does leave you with smooth and clear skin. My nightly routine includes moisturizing my skin with Tea Tree Oil and Coconut Oil. Both have amazing benefits for the skin, and you will honestly wake up with skin that glows. During the fall/winter, I also like to switch out my lotions for more butter-based ones just for extra skin hydration.

Steam Your Face, Then Seal With A Splash Of Cool Water

There are two affordable and fast at-home facial steam techniques to go about steaming your face. The first way is by washing your face with really warm water in the shower. Get the water at its warmest setting, give it a minute for it to steam up, and then step into the shower. Steaming your face is the best way to open up pores and kick-start your facial cleansing routine. After that give your skin a deep clean with a facial cleanser, like Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser. Steaming your face softens up pores allowing facial cleansers to penetrate deeper into your skin to remove all the gunk that can build up on your skin throughout the day. The second way to steam your face is by grabbing a bowl of hot water and sprinkling in a couple of mint leaves. Then, place a towel over your head while your face is over the bowl collecting steam. Both techniques are great and your complexion will thank you. Finally, once you've steamed and washed your face, close up your pores by splashing some cold water over your face.

Consume Lots Of Healthy Fresh Foods

If you're looking for clear skin, fruits will be your best friend. I feel like great skin definitely starts from the inside and is reflected outside, meaning, in most cases, what you consume can affect the health and appearance of your skin. For one, consuming fresh fruits and veggies regularly can have a positive impact on your skin because fruits are packed with all the good stuff that promotes your overall health. Your complexion will be visibly brighter and clearer on a healthier lifestyle, as opposed to, an unhealthy one.

Let Your Skin Breathe

And finally, it's important to let your skin breathe. Makeup is known to clog pores and that coupled with stress is not the move. So, if you wear makeup, remember to serve some fresh-faced realness some days too.
